We believe in circularity with our products. All of our belts are made from recycled materials. In an effort to reduce studio waste, we also turn our off-cuts into other products such as wallet and key fobs.

Because we know just how many pairs of hands it takes to bring a product to life, and have learned that with every step of our belts’ production, we have a chance to insist on better working conditions, more manageable hours, and more upward mobility for the people behind your belts. Sewing is a job disproportionately done by women who are also POCs and we ensure that everyone working with us is paid a living wage as opposed to standard pay.

We are very serious about accessibility. We have made sure that our Edmonton, Alberta HQ is in a location near a bus route and we offer to pay for 50% of a bus pass for all employees. We also are in the process of adding a chairlift to our second-floor studio to make it accessible to all who would like to visit our space.
